Several years ago, I came up with the idea of a brown work glove turning into a reindeer ornament. It would be a great craft to do with children with some assistance. I thought of it again today when I saw the work gloves at our local grocery store for $0.79. So you can get two ornaments for that price.

I tucked in the thumb of the glove then glued two fingers together to make the antlers. I used hot glue for this and to attach the eyes and nose.

One the fingers are glued together, use batting to stuff the reindeer head. Then you can fold the bottom closed and either glue shut or sew it shut. Then glue on the googly eyes and a red pom pom for the nose. You can string a ribbon through the top if you want to be able to hang the ornament. You can also embellish be gluing bells or other decorations at the bottom of the antlers.
