For today’s Make it from Scratch Challenge project I made Paperback trees.

There are various instructions online but I chose to use the above set of instructions. There are also videos online that show you how to do it. In the instructions it shows to cut off the small triangle left at the bottom of each page after folding. Some other instructions show to fold them into the previous fold so that is what I did instead of cutting them off.

I used glitter spray and wire star garland to decorate the trees.

This is also part of my Thrift store posts since I purchased the paperback books at the thrift store. I also purchased the garland, which were brand new packages at a thrift store. Part of thrift store shopping is never knowing what you will find. I have found many brand new items still in the packaging or price tags on them for a fraction of the retail price.
