Here is the update of the progress of my goals for July.
For my exercise goal, have been doing the 30 Day Squat Challenge most days for the last few months. I have also been walking regularly. The weekend of the 4th we had a family reunion with over 80 in attendance. As part of the reunion we had our 1st 5k run/walk with proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society. About 45 of us participated and raised over $1,000. We are planning on continuing this when we get together each year.
I have been following the 52 Week Saving Plan. Instead of putting the money away each week, I have putting the correct amount away at the end of each month. Even if you don’t want to participate in this program, anything you can save makes a difference. I have also heard of savings a dollar a day for a year.
I have been following the YouVersion.com plan to read the Bible in a year. I have kept up with it for January thru July.
One of my goals is to write an e-book a month. For July I published an E-Book, Learning to Cook with resources and tips to learning to cook. One way to save on food expenses is to cook at home. Excuses of many people is either they don’t know how to cook or don’t have the time. There may be steps to take to make cooking at home more possible. If you don’t know how to cook, there are many resources to learn simple recipes and cooking methods.

I have also been keeping up with the Read 52 Books in 52 Weeks program by reading at least one book a week. So far I have read 55 books this year.
