I had a package of cream cheese that needed to be used. I found this recipe for Alfredo sauce using cream cheese.

I made a few modifications using what I had. I didn’t include the mushrooms and I used cheddar cheese since that’s what I had. I also added chopped pepperoni.

So it didn’t end up being alfredo sauce but it still tasted good.

In many cases you can make a homemade sauce just as quickly as opening a jar. It tastes better and you know what ingredients are in it.

Hornbachers has Ragu sauce on sale for $.98 a jar thru Tuesday if you are in need of pasta sauce.
