It is easy to make goals, the difficulty sometimes is following through. One way to keeping your financial goals is to remind yourself of your goals on a regular basis. An easy way to remember to do this, is to come up with a statement about your goals already coming true and recite this when your wake up and before you go to bed each day.
Also, if you document your high priority goals and post them where you will see them every day. Some ideas of places are your bathroom mirror, the refrigerator and your computer monitor. For more motivation, you may want to try a vision board, where you take a piece of foamboard or something and paste photos or pictures from magazines of things relating to your goals.
I participated in a course where we came up with goals for different areas of our lives and statements for each one. We also had call buddies that we talked to each day and told them our goal, statement and what we were planning that day to move closer to the goals. Over the past year, I have seen amazing results in myself and the others from taking these steps.
