Free Dr Seuss event
If you are looking for something to do with your children this weekend, Saturday, Feb. 26 Target stores across the nation will host a Dr. Seuss celebration, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. It’s free and open to the public and no reservations required.
The National Education Association, Read Across America and Target have joined forces to encourage children to read.

In order to bring greater awareness to America’s education crisis and reinforce the important role reading plays in shaping a child’s future, Target is focused on helping more U.S. children reach this important milestone.
Since 1962, Target has committed 5% of its income to support our communities. Over the next five years, they are committing $500 million more to support education and reading, bringing our legacy of giving to $1 billion by 2015. Through this giving, Target hopes to make more books, resources, information and community reading support available to every child in America.
